Anyone who follows my work knows I have a little bit of a problem with focus. In short, my muse has a wicked case of attention deficit disorder. Not to mention oppositional defiant disorder. Yep, the muse is naughty, no doubt about it.
But alas, the muse is the muscle behind my creative side so I have to tread carefully with any punishment. Wouldn't want to lose that muse to a better mistress.
One of the things I do to keep the muse happy is by indulging in new pursuits. Last year was poetry and song writing and this year is script writing. So in March I signed up for Script Frenzy. Much like NaNoWriMo, Script Frenzy is a writing challenge with the goal being to write a 100 page script in 30 days.
Well I always love goal setting, sprints and challenges. It's the only leash I have for that naughty muse. And this one is going pretty well so far. I'm at around 15 pages on day 4.
Time to get back to that script. It won't write itself.
