I probably shouldn't even speak it's name, but I wanted to talk about writer's block. Not saying I'm blocked(don't want to curse myself), but just haven't had the desire to push through this latest book. Once I know how a book is going to go, the magic is kind of over for me. I guess that's why I like to have a few different ideas rolling around in my head.
But what causes writer's block? And what is it? And what does it have to do with readers?
I think everyone has their own definition of writer's block. To me it's when you can't figure out what to write and have no desire to do so.
And I think there are many causes. For me, I tend to get swept up in everything going on around me. Lately I've been craving silence, getting out of all the hype and just doing my thing. Putting words down on the page.
What does it have to do with readers? Well, when author's aren't writing, books aren't being written, and that means nothing new to read. Down right scary, isn't it? I know, but never fear. A nice note to your favorite author will keep her writing.
Speaking of which, what's new with all my blog partners? Morgan? Shannon? Eliza? Bonnie? Visitors, how about you?
