Introducing... well... me!

Good Morning everyone,

My name is Bonnie Rose Leigh and I'm an award-winning, bestselling author of Erotic Paranormal Romance. First off, I want to thank the other wicked ladies that invited me to join their blog. To be invited amongst such amazing authors is a pure priviledge. Thank you ladies for having me here.

Anyway, I currently have over 2 dozen stories published and I've got a dozen more contracted. I'm with Cobblestone Press and eXtasy Books right now, though my goal is to finish the full-length futuristic I started and have my agent submit it to NY. We'll see how that goes. To find out more about me, visit my WEBSITE which just had a redesign go live yesterday.

So, I was going to post about a new release I have coming out tonight at midnight at eXtasy Books but instead I think I'll tell you how my day started. I spoke to my publisher on the phone last night until almost 1:30 in the morning, so I didn't get to sleep until almost 3 am when all was said and done. So it wasn't any surprise that I slept until 10 this morning.

I would have slept longer if I hadn't felt my bed shaking like we were in an earthquake followed by an "Oh, Shit!" yell from my hubby. Bleary-eyed, I squinted my sleep-swollen eyes through the blinding sunlight coming through the bedroom window.

"What? What?" I asked, irritated at being woke at all.

"The f***ing street cleaners are coming down the street."

"Oh, shit. The car, did you move it last night."

"Dammit!" he yelled as he slammed out of the bedroom, raced down the steps to the front door and sprinted outside.

Another doorslam, pounding footsteps back up to the apartment, slamming through our front door. "Goddammit!!"

I sighed, shoved the covers off my legs and sat up. "I take it the already towed our car?"

"Dammit!!"

Needless to say, the DH is pissed. He had a friend come and pick him up and take him to the garage where the car was towed. It cost us $118 for the towing plus a city ticket for $35. If he doesn't go to work soon (DH has been laid off since Jan--damn economy), life is going to become difficult. This is sooo not how I wanted to start my Tuesday.

So, support a starving artist and visit eXtasy Books tonight at midnight and buy my new release, The Protector's Keeper!! LOL
