Twilight crazed...Again!

In case you didn't know it Twilight, the movie came out on DVD today and my family was at the store first thing this morning to get it. Between me and my two daughters, i'm not sure which one of us wanted it more. *g*

In fact I think i'm going to have stop admitting to how many times i've seen it now. I haven't read the books so I'm not nearly as invested in the characters as my daughters are so i'm just not sure what it is that drives me to this movie so hard.

I love the paranormal romance aspect of it even if they are teenagers. The paranormal conflict definitely adds to the typical teen angst. I especially love the visual scenery of the movie to the point that I would love to visit the Pacific NorthWest for some inspiration.

And let's not forget the James, Jacob and Edward yumminess. I particularly enjoyed James. Sure he is good looking but there is always something about a really bad boy that gets to me every time. Guess i'm not supposed to really like the villain but I did. But i'm not the only one. I've seen plenty of James love out there.

It's the Alpha male syndrome. Some of us, in fact a lot of us, really go for the Alpha male. We see it in books all the time. In my newest shapeshifter book, Lucas, I introduce you to a trio of very alpha brothers but from the letters i've gotten the bad boy brother, Malcolm really stood out. He's dark and dominant and oh sooo bad. Yep, it gets me every time. lol

And since i'm a big shapeshifter fan I cannot wait for the next Twilight movie, New Moon, so I can see Jacob become a werewolf. I might be partial to the big cats but I still love a good wolf story.
